Wine is sacred in France, and the love for reds and whites switches as the seasons go by. This summer, the French are falling in love with rhubarb wine.

Strange isn’t it? Rhubarb wine is traditionally known as the “wine for peasants” - however, this season, it’s being devoured by some of the finest wine drinkers across the country. Rhubarb wine was accidentally developed by a farmer in Eastern France as a cheaper alternative to the wines drunk everywhere.
